Assembling is easy, the only thing you have to do is fold the cardboard and add the doors inbetween. To secure the loose pieces, you simply put the split pins through the pre-cut slots. The cardboard is white on one side and brown on the other, so you can easily switch between colors. The hole pattern in the sides make the tent a pleasant observation spot for your cat.
