Why do cats like our computers?

There are probably a lot of reasons for this, but one of the main reasons is that computers are warm and we all know cats love cozy and warm places. Another reason could be that they want your attention, by poking your laptop or stepping on your touchpad and keyboard you have to pay attention to them, good or bad. The last reason is probably also familiar to you; your cat may be attracted to what is on the screen, especially when it’s something that moves a lot.
